Dryland & Off-Ice Training

USA Hockey has created fun, age-appropriate dryland (off-ice) exercises that help deliver the agility, balance, coordination, strength and skill training that young players need to complement their on-ice play.

Introduction

Use these drills for 30 minutes before or after practice at least two times each week during the season. They'll help introduce players to multi-directional movement skills, multi-directional speed, rhythm, special awareness and more.

Weekly Training

A season’s worth of off-ice practice plans broken up into two sessions per week for 20 weeks. Video links of each exercise are included within the PDF.

Age-Specific Training

Download age-specific dryland training cards for a variety of drills, exercises and techniques for your players.
