Winter Meeting - January

2025 USA Hockey Winter Meeting

USA Hockey volunteers and staff convene each January for a winter meeting where legislative and/or playing rule proposals and various discussions occur. The 2025 USA Hockey Winter Meeting will take place Thursday, January 16 through Sunday, January 19 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.

2024 Legislative Proposals & Information

During its meeting on Sunday, January 28th, the Congress will be considering and voting on legislation that was submitted last Spring and reviewed, discussed and amended during the Annual Meeting in June 2023. Copies of that legislation can be found below:

Any member wishing to place an item on the agenda for the 2024 USA Hockey Winter Meeting, other than as stated in USA Hockey Bylaw 8.A.(1), must do so by presenting it to the principal office of USA Hockey, in writing, not later than November 1. 
 
Items submitted for the agenda of the Winter Meeting must also be sent by the submitter to the chair of the appropriate Council, Committee or Section along with a single paragraph explaining the intent and purpose of the proposal. Any items submitted by a member shall have attached to it the proof of submission of the proposed item to their Affiliate Association or District organization.
