Summer Dutton joined USA Hockey in September 2023 as as digital content specialist. 

Dutton comes to USA Hockey from Quinnipiac University, where she served as the assistant director of athletic communications, graphic design. In this role, Dutton was the primary contact for NCAA DI women’s ice hockey, women’s soccer and softball. This role saw her as the head of Graphic Design for all 17 sports on campus, where she aided collecting in-game statistics, writing press releases, and creating graphics, in-game social media updates, and stream production.

She also served as a volunteer assistant to the director of hockey operations where she was responsible for video reviews and challenges during the NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, including the championship matchup during the 2022-23 Frozen Four. Prior to Quinnipiac University, Dutton also was the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, Graphic Design at the College of the Holy Cross in the athletics department. 

Dutton is a graduate of Mercyhurst University with degrees in marketing and sport business management. Dutton continued her education at American International College, earning a Master of Business Administration in May 2022.
