Resources For Survivors

Prevention and awareness can only be achieved through focused commitment of everyone involved in hockey. While no current screening techniques exist that can identify every potential threat, we can reduce the risk by having a world-leading Safe Sport Program which includes broad requirements for completion of Safe Sport training and a background screening program.

USA Hockey has prepared a list of survivor and prevention resources for our membership and hockey community. If you are a survivor of sexual abuse, there are a list of resources and organizations that can help.  If you need help making a report to USA Hockey or the US Center for SafeSport, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. In the event you need help with accessing resources for survivors,  I am available to help you through the process.

Respectfully,

Don Pino, USA Hockey Safe Sport Program Manager
