ELITE OFFICIATING EXPERIENCE

ELITE OFFICIATING EXPERIENCE

The USA Hockey Officiating Program would like to announce the continuation of the Men's and Women's Elite Officiating Experiences. The separate programs operate in conjunction with the USA Hockey Junior National Team Challenge in Plymouth, MI and the USA Hockey Women's Festival in Lake Placid, NY.

The Elite Experience programs continue to be highly successful as several participants progress to receive assignments as various levels of internation competition. The purpose of this program is to identify international officiating candidates and train them in the playing rules, procedures, and mechanics of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

For this week-long program, USA Hockey selects male and female applicants who have high level officiating experience and a desire to become involved at the international level of competition.

Applications must be submitted to the District Referees-in-Chief by the prescribed deadlines.
