In conjunction with USA Hockey and Massachusetts Hockey, the Boston Bruins conducted their ninth annual Bruins Academy Coaching Symposium on Saturday at Warrior Ice Arena. Approximately 400 coaches attended the event, which included age-specific coaching presentations from USA Hockey staff (Roger Grillo, Kevin McLaughlin, Mark Tabrum), as well as Quinnipiac University men's hockey goaltending coach Jared Waimon. Bruins headliners included general manager Don Sweeney and skating and skills consultant, Kim Brandvold. On-air hockey analyst Billy Jaffe, also a USA Hockey-certified Level 3 coach, served as emcee.
