Championship day at 2018 USA Hockey Warrior Classic, presented by Terry Fator is underway here at City National Arena in Las Vegas. Playoff action will include three games.
THE RUNDOWN: At 7 a.m. PT, Dallas Warriors B will take on Capital Beltway Warriors in a consolation game. Following that, the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors will face the Pittsburgh Warriors in the first championship game at 8:25 a.m. followed by Dallas Warriors A meeting the first place overall team, the Buffalo Sabres Warriors, at 11:30 a.m.

THE EVENT: The USA Hockey Warrior Classic, presented by Terry Fator, is one of USA Hockey's newest disabled hockey events. Taking place for the third time, the event annually brings together teams from across the country competing in one of USA Hockey's fastest growing disabled hockey disciplines, Warrior Hockey. The discipline is dedicated to injured and disabled U.S. Military Veterans who have served our country and play the sport of ice hockey.
FATOR MEETS TEAM USA: Prior to serving as an honorary coach for the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors in their 6-2 victory over Dallas Warriors B, Terry Fator attended the 2018-19 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team practice. There, he got in a sled and scored a goal before addressing the team and taking a group photo.
FATOR BEHIND THE BENCH: As part of the overall event festivities, Fator served as an honorary coach for the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors in their playoff game. Following the game, Fator attended an event reception where he shared comments on the stories he learned of some of the players; thanked those who have served in the military; and expressed his overall excitement of the event.
