THE EVENT: The USA Hockey Warrior Classic, presented by Terry Fator, is one of USA Hockey's newest disabled hockey events. Taking place for the third time, the event annually brings together teams from across the country competing in one of USA Hockey's fastest growing disabled hockey disciplines, Warrior Hockey. The discipline is dedicated to injured and disabled U.S. Military Veterans who have served our country and play the sport of ice hockey.

FATOR MEETS TEAMS: Last night, participating teams in this year's 2018 USA Hockey Warrior Classic, presented by Terry Fator, as well as the 2018-19 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team, attended Terry Fator's show and took part in a meet and greet afterward. During the meet and greet, Jim Smith, president of USA Hockey, presented Terry with a USA Hockey jersey, which was followed by Terry personally welcoming players, coaches and guests to this year's tournament. 

"To have someone who's name is nationally renowned and to put his name on a disabled hockey tournament and just even get our name out there, it really helps us develop," said Josh Pauls, three-time U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team gold medalist. "(It helps) spread the word that there are avenues people can take if they want to have a competitive outlet or just want some way to stay in shape and enjoy the great game of hockey."
