SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Team Langenbrunner topped Team Leopold, 6-4, here tonight in the seventh annual USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Trevor Zegras (Bedford, N.Y./U.S. National Under-18 Team) netted the game-winner with just 35 seconds remaining while Matt Boldy (Millis, Mass./U.S. National Under-18 Team) scored twice, including the game-tying goal with 1:07 left in regulation, to earn Player of the Game honors.

Arthur Kaliyev (Delray Beach, Fla./Hamilton Bulldogs) opened the scoring for Team Langenbrunner 11:43 into the contest when he buried a pass on a two-on-one from Alex Turcotte (Island Lake, Ill./U.S. National Under-18 Team). Nick Robertson (Northville, Mich./Peterborough Petes) picked up the secondary assist.

Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis./U.S. National Under-18 Team) evened the score for Team Leopold just 17 seconds later, beating netminder Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn./U.S. National Under-18 Team) with a quick wrist shot into the top left corner of the net to close out the first stanza.

Team Langenbrunner regained its lead less than 90 seconds into the second stanza off Boldy's first goal of the game. The play started when Turcotte deflected an initial slapshot from the point by Marshall Warren (Laurel Hollow, N.Y./U.S. National Under-18 Team) that forced a rebound Boldy was able to fire home for an early period lead.

After consistent back and forth play throughout the second period, an errant clearing attempt from Team Leopold ended up in the back of the net to even the score at two apiece.

With 1:16 remaining in the period, John Beecher (Elmira,N.Y./U.S. National Under-18 Team) put Team Leopold up, 3-2, by firing home a pass from Michael Gildon (Plano, Texas/U.S. National Under-18 Team). Minnesota native Ryder Donovan (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East) earned the secondary assist on the play.

In the final stanza, Caufield connected again 13:14 into the frame to extend Team Leopold's lead to 4-2. The play started when Hughes carried the puck into the zone for a two-on-one opportunity before dishing the puck to Caufield for his second goal of the game.

Kaliyev cut Team Langenbrunner's deficit to 4-3 just :35 later  when he netted his second goal of the game. With 1:07 to play and Team Langenbrunner skating with an empty net, Boldy collected a pass from Warren and tucked a wrist shot off the top left post and into the net to even the score.

Just 30 seconds later, Zegras netted the eventual game-winner by sneaking a shot between the pads of Dustin Wolf (Tustin, Calif./Everett Silvertips). An empty-netted effort from Warren sealed the 6-4 win for Team Langenbrunner.
