USA Hockey announced today that the 23 players named to the 2017-18 U.S. Women's National Team will be unveiled live on NHL Network this Friday (May 5). The ceremony, hosted by NHL Network's Jamison Coyle, will take place at 1 p.m. ET at AMALIE Arena in Tampa, Florida, during a special edition of “NHL Tonight,” hosted by Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek.
The roster announcement is the culmination of the U.S. Women's National Team Selection Camp held this week at Florida Hospital Center Ice in the Tampa suburb of Wesley Chapel.
The U.S. Women's National Team will live and train together beginning in September and participate in various competitions in the build-up to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Details of the residency period will be announced a later date.
