Agreement Calls for Thorne To Be Official Nutritional Supplement Partner of USA Hockey

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today it has signed a multi-year agreement with Thorne as its official nutritional supplement partner.

“We’re excited about our new partnership with Thorne,” said Dave Ogrean, executive director of USA Hockey. “Thorne brings valuable knowledge, insight and product support to all those who play our sport and we look forward to having access to their resources in helping continue to provide the most relevant education to our membership.”

As part of its commitment to assist U.S. national teams, Thorne will be working directly with USA Hockey nutritionists, coaches and staff to provide the highest level of product to athletes, including its extensive line of NSF Certified for Sport products.

The new partnership between the two organizations, which also includes the designation of Thorne as USA Hockey’s official health and wellness sponsor, will reach all areas of USA Hockey, including players at all levels, coaches, officials, and USA Hockey’s renowned National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Michigan.

“We’re extremely pleased to be a partner of USA Hockey,” said Paul Jacobson, chief executive officer of Thorne. “Our nutritional supplements are widely recognized as a top flight option to help athletes of all ability levels, and while that’s important, we very much look forward to sharing our vast array of resources to help provide the best products and most up-to-date education related to health and wellness for all involved with USA Hockey.
