Fans can celebrate Team USA’s win via NHL Network and @USAHockey

USA Hockey and NHL Network will give fans a chance to relive the glory of Team USA’s 1996 World Cup championship beginning Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The 20th anniversary multimedia event will include USA Hockey live-tweeting the decisive Game 3 in conjunction with NHL Network’s re-broadcast of the epic showdown between the United States and Canada at the inaugural World Cup. After the game, NHL Network will debut a new documentary about the game: “Orchestrating an Upset.”

As part of the celebration, USA Hockey will be tweeting special content and perhaps even a surprise or two throughout the broadcast. Fans are encouraged to join the conversation using the #WCH1996 hashtag. So plan to keep one eye on Twitter (@USAHockey) and the other on NHL Network while you watch arguably the greatest team in U.S. hockey history skate onto the ice in Montreal for this memorable clash.
