Players vying for 2016 U.S. National Junior Team played many sports growing up

Studies show that athletes who specialize too early in a specific sport don't reap the benefits that multi-sport athletes do when facing a wide range of physical challenges.

For multiple players at the 2016 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp, held early this month in Plymouth, Michigan, the offseason sports such as baseball, golf and other activities made them better hockey players.
