Bobak, Gibson join USA Hockey National Office Staff

USA Hockey announced today the addition of Brittany Bobak (Long Beach, Calif.) and Andy Gibson (Charlotte, N.C.) to its membership development staff.

Bobak will serve as coordinator for USA Hockey’s Club Excellence program, a new resource designed to help local leaders manage the day-to-day operations of successful youth hockey associations. She worked most recently within the United States Olympic Committee’s information technology department, assisting with platform development and systems training. The University of Oregon alumna also worked in the USOC’s Athlete Career and Education Department, serving in various strategic planning roles. Her prior experience also includes an internship with USA Racquetball and volunteer duties with multiple Colorado Springs youth sports clubs and The Chill Foundation.

Gibson will serve as a program services coordinator, providing resources and support to grassroots youth hockey programs nationwide. The James Madison University alumnus has a diverse background that includes service as the Shenandoah Valley United Soccer recreation program director and also as hockey director at the Extreme Ice Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Gibson’s prior experience also includes a stint as hockey coordinator at the Kettler (Va.) Capitals Iceplex and service with the U.S. Peace Corps in Africa as a youth development coordinator.

Both Bobak and Gibson will join USA Hockey’s national office staff in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
