Four Members of the USWNT to Appear at NHL Fan Fair

Olympians Set to Take Part in Various Activities at Official Fan Festival in Nashville, Tennessee

Four members of the U.S. Women's National Team will appear at the 2016 NHL Fan Fair as part of the NHL All-Star festivities in Nashville, Tennessee, this weekend. Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson (Grand Forks, N.D.), Monique Lamoureux (Grand Forks, N.D.) and Anne Schleper (St. Cloud, Minn.) will interact with fans at the NHL & NHLPA Future Goals booth, and Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho) will be available at the Autograph Stage.

All four players are Olympians, including KnightLamoureux-Davidson and Lamoureux, who are two-time silver medalists (2010, 2014). Schleper was a member of the Olympic team in 2014.

The 2016 NHL Fan Fair at the Music City Center is the official fan festival of the 2016 NHL All-Star Weekend. It includes family-friendly interactive games and attractions, special appearances, trophy and memorabilia displays, live music, live TV and radio broadcasts and dozens of other activities.

In addition to their set appearances, the players will also take part in various activities surrounding the event throughout the weekend. Follow them and all of the fan activities on social media using the hashtags #NHLAllStar and #NHLFanFair.

The NHL and NHLPA Future Goals Program brings interactive education opportunities to each of the 30 NHL markets. Using the game of hockey as a learning vehicle, Future Goals helps students build important science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills and understand the real world application of these disciplines. The program is powered by EverFi, an education technology company.

Throughout the ongoing NHL All-Star festivities, USA Hockey is supporting the Nashville Predators with their hockey development initiatives. Scott Paluch, Shannon Webster, Katie Holmgren and Pat Knowlton are helping run activities such as Try Hockey For Free Sessions, Street Hockey Clinics, Adult Skill Clinics, Get Out And Learn! Clinics, and 10U ADM Clinics that take place at IntelliCentrics Ice Rink @ Bridgestone Winter Park and and the Fan Fair at Music City Center Convention Center.
