USA Hockey announced today that Andrew Ketterer (Peoria, Ill.) has been named social media and digital content coordinator. He will be responsible for social and digital media-related campaigns and strategies in support of USA Hockey initiatives and programs.

Ketterer joins USA Hockey from Simantel, a global marketing and communications firm in Peoria, Illinois, where he served as community manager/content contributor. He was responsible for developing social media strategies and content for select initiatives, while also managing the agency’s website and social media channels.

A graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Ketterer earned degrees in marketing and sports management while playing four years for the school’s NCAA Division III hockey team.

Ketterer will officially begin his duties Monday.
