GAMEDAY: U.S. Plays Sweden to Open Four Nations

The U.S. will open the Four Nations Cup today against host Sweden. Below are the game notes and line charts for today's game.

USA vs. SWEDEN: In the Four Nations Cup, Team USA has never lost to Sweden, holding a 15-0-0-0-0 record (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) overall. The U.S. has shut out Sweden in five of the last six games over the last four years by a collective score of 37-1.

The Four Nations Cup is an annual tournament that has been held in varying forms since 1996 (previously the Three Nations Cup). It has taken place 19 times and the United States has competed 18 times, having not participated in 2001.
