As part of espnW’s new original series, What Make Us, Team USA forward Hilary Knight is featured in a documentary short, Knighter, which will debut on Thursday, October 15 at noon EDT on espnW.com. The film is the fifth in a series that features some of the world’s greatest female athletes.
The two-time Olympic silver-medalist has won gold five times at the International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship and will next represent the U.S. Women’s National Team at the Four Nations Cup in Sundsvall, Sweden in early November.
“I’m excited for the launch of the film and hope it positively impacts young girls who are facing their own challenges and striving to achieve their goals,” said Knight, who is attending the espnW Summit at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Hotel in Dana Point, California. “I’m very appreciative that espnW has created a platform that helps tell my story and what I’ve been through while also providing exposure to our sport and what my teammates and I experience in women’s hockey.”
