The 2015-16 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will train this weekend (Oct. 8-10) at Extreme Ice Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Team USA will be joined by the U.S. National Developmental Sled Hockey Team for the duration of camp.

Both teams will conduct practices on Thursday (Oct. 8) and Friday (Oct. 9). Additionally, the two teams will face off Friday at 3 p.m. ET and again Saturday (Oct. 10) at 9:30 a.m ET. All practices and games are open to the public. See below for the full schedule:

Also on Saturday, both teams are scheduled to visit the Charlotte International Speedway and take in the 2015 Bank of America 500 race. Part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the 500-mile race will include racer, Joey Logano, whose foundation, the Joey Logano Foundation, presented the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team with a $10,000 donation on March 26.

NOTES: Dan Brennan (Colorado Springs, Colo.), director of the sled and inline national teams for USA Hockey, is serving as the general manager of the 2015-16 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team ... Jeff Sauer (Madison, Wis.) is in his fifth year as head coach of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team. Under his direction, Team USA went undefeated last season with a 12-1-0-0 record (W-OTW-OTL-L) while claiming the 2015 International Paralympic Committee Ice Sled Hockey World Championship in Buffalo, New York ...
