U.S. Schedule Announced for 2016 Women's Worlds

Team USA will open the preliminary round against Canada

The U.S. Women's National Team will face Canada in their preliminary round opener at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship in Kamloops, B.C. The game against their rivals will take place on March 28 at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The defending champions will also play Finland on March 29 and Russia on March 31 in the preliminary round.

The quarterfinals will take place on April 1 with the semifinals on April 3. The gold and bronze medal games are both slated for Monday, April 4.
