The New York Rangers’ active winter of youth hockey involvement will continue this week as the organization hosts free youth lessons in Central Park and a cross-ice jamboree at Madison Square Garden. These festivities come on the heels of a special event in late January headlined by Rangers forward Martin St. Louis, who met 90 10U players and their parents at the MSG Training Center to discuss youth hockey and participate in a cross-ice jamboree. USA Hockey’s Roger Grillo and Matt Herr joined St. Louis at the event, answering questions and providing suggestions for a great youth hockey experience. It's all part of the Rangers' continued efforts to help lead the advance of youth hockey in New York, a state that currently ranks No. 2 in production of players on 2014-15 NHL rosters.
