Taking it Outside in Minnesota

Jan. 5, 2015 | While Minnesota awaits its first NHL Winter Classic, there is no shortage of outdoor play in the State of Hockey. One rapidly growing program — the Sartell Youth Hockey Association — took it to a festive level by hosting an outdoor squirt game Saturday between its Sabres and the Moorhead Spuds. The mayor was on hand to drop a ceremonial puck and plenty of hot chocolate was consumed in the making of this epic alongside the Watab River.
