To date, program helped over 4,000 organizations raise over $8 million

It’s 5AM. The alarm goes off in your dark bedroom. You get up and walk down the hall to wake up your hockey player. She meets you in the kitchen for a quick bite to eat, you gather the equipment bag and lug it to your SUV parked in the garage. As you drive to the ice rink, you try to remind yourself why you do this five days a week.

  • Because you love early mornings?
  • Because you love driving across town for ice time?
  • Because you love sitting in a cold rink on a hard bench?
  • Because you love hockey?

Above anything else, you do this because you love your daughter.

Hockey parents are special. You are willing to work extra hard to ensure your child gets to participate in the sport they love, and you do exceptional things to make it happen: Early mornings, hours at rinks, travel to tournaments, and more.

At Schwan’s Home Delivery, we recognize all you give for your hockey player. That’s why we want to give back, with our Schwan’s Cares fundraising program. The team at Schwan’s Cares understands the unique points of hockey fundraising. That’s why our first national partner was USA Hockey. We’re proud of our affiliation with such an important organization for hockey families.

But really, it all begins with an understanding of who Schwan’s Home Delivery is. Since 1952, Schwan’s Home Delivery has helped families share delicious home-style meals. We offer home delivery of over 350 foods – all made with premium ingredients and requiring simple prep. One year ago, we launched Schwan’s Cares and to date, we’ve helped over 4,000 organizations raise over $8 million. It’s quite simple: Each time a team supporter purchases from Schwans.com, your team earns 20% of sales during the 45-day campaign period. But best of all – you earn 5% for the rest of a year!

  • Earn for an entire year
  • All online – create and run your fundraising campaign on schwans-cares.com
  • You’ll never need to deliver food or collect money
  • No costs to create or run your fundraising campaign
  • Your team’s supporters buy the same foods as all of our customers, at the same prices

Think of what you could do with year-long funding coming to your team. Ice time, equipment, tournament fees – and perhaps you can invite more kids to try hockey from your community!

The SCHWAN’S CARES fundraising program was a terrific way to raise a lot of money quickly and easily!  The process is hands-free, which was much better than going door to door ourselves trying to sell items.  The email and social media features are built in to the site and allowed us to reach more people than we would have been able to using a more traditional form of fundraising.  As a result, we were able to raise close to $3,000 while also providing some delicious food options to the members of our community!!  We hope to run another campaign in the near future to help our association keep the costs down for our members!!  Thanks SCHWAN’S CARES!”
