Eickmeyer Promoted to Director of Internet Content and Development

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Hockey announced today the promotion of Cameron Eickmeyer to director of internet content and development.

The Flagstaff, Arizona, native started at USA Hockey in May of 2007 as managing editor of internet communications and has been a central figure in the organization's efforts in expanding and improving its digital content.

In his new role, Eickmeyer will oversee all areas of USA Hockey's internet efforts, including technology enhancements to further serve the organization's varied constituents as well as content development. Eickmeyer will also continue his role in leading the organization's efforts related to mobile application development and strategy.

"Cam has been a real leader in our digital efforts," said Mike Bertsch, assistant executive director of marketing, communications and events for USA Hockey. "He brings creativity, energy and innovation and will do an excellent job in leading us forward."

Bogart Added as Coordinator of Internet Content and Development

In addition, USA Hockey announced the hiring of Catherine Bogart as coordinator of internet content and development.

Her focus will be on generating multimedia content for the USA Hockey web platform that supports efforts across all areas of the organization.

Bogart, a native of New York, New York, is a 2014 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where she received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast news with a sports emphasis.

Most recently, she completed an internship with 850 KOA News Radio in Denver where she helped produce the Primetime Sports segment, oversaw social media and contributed on-air during the segment “Sports with the Intern.” She has also interned at Sports Illustrated and was a sideline reporter for the University of Colorado's Division I men's club lacrosse team.
