Two Players Added to Under-18 Team Roster, One to U17s

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program today officially announced the additions of Troy Terry (Highlands Ranch, Colorado) and Tage Thompson (Oyster Bay, New York) to the U.S. National Under-18 Team roster and Keenan Suthers (Macomb, Michigan) to the U.S. National Under-17 Team roster for the 2014-15 season.

Last season, Terry skated for the Colorado Thunderbirds midget minor program of the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League, tallying 16 goals and collecting 25 assists in 31 regular-season games. In 2012-13, the forward registered 49 points (14-35) in 41 games with the Thunderbirds. The University of Denver verbal commit was most recently named to the 2014 U.S. Under-18 Select Team that will compete at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup from Aug. 11-16, in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia. Previously, Terry helped the U.S. Under-17 Select Team win a title at the 2013 Five Nations Tournament in Trnava, Slovakia.

Thompson played 16 games last season with the P.A.L. Junior Islanders, netting 17 goals and gathering 14 helpers. The forward led his team in goals and ranked second on the squad in points. Thompson was also selected to the U.S. Premier Hockey League All-Star Team.

Suthers laced up his skates for the Detroit Compuware midget minor program last season. The forward netted eight goals and added five assists in 30 games while playing in the High Performance Hockey League. Suthers will next represent Team USA at the 2014 Five Nations Tournament in Crimmitschau, Germany as a member of the U.S. Under-17 Select Team.
