Returning For More: Two of the top three scorers from last year's Select 15 camp have returned to compete in the Select 16. Henry Crone (Royal, No. 16) tallied 14 points to pace all Select 15 skaters in 2013 and Brandon Puricelli (Black, No. 10) followed with 11. Ryan Keane (Orange, No. 30) is the lone returning netminder from last year's Select 15 camp to finish with a sub-two goals-against average (1.92).

Famous Relative: Black's Ty Amonte (No. 16) is the son of former USA Hockey great and NHL alumnus, Tony Amonte. The elder Amonte skated in over 1,100-career NHL contests, amassing an impressive 900 points to place him 12th all-time amongst American-born players. Over that time, the Hingham, Mass. native played in five NHL All-Star Games and was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1992.  Amonte made two Olympic appearances for Team USA (1998, 2002) and is currently the head coach of the varsity team at Thayer Academy. He is also serving as a coach for Kelly in this week's Select 16 Development Camp.

All Aboard: Orange got its week started in a positive manner, as it received points from ten different skaters in a 6-2 victory over Black. John Leonard (No. 9) recorded a hat-trick and Anthony Delgaizo (No. 11) contributed two goals and an assist to lead the way offensively, while Cole Thompson (No. 4), Cameron Donaldson (No. 10) and Patrick Harper (No. 12) were all credited with a pair of helpers. Between the pipes, goaltenders Jacob Acton (No. 1) and Ryan Keane (No. 30) combined to deny 43-of-45 shots faced.

Royal also opened camp on a winning note, overcoming an early 2-0 deficit to defeat Red 6-3. Like Orange earlier, 10 different Royal players contributed at least a point in the winning effort, in addition to its six different goal-scorers. Marcus Dickerson (No. 12) notched a goal and three assists, with Montgomery Graham (No. 10) and John Hoey (No. 14) tallied two points apiece to secure the three points.

Kelly Prevails in Week's First Shootout: After tying the game at five with a late shorthanded marker, Kelly outlasted Grey in a shootout by a score of 6-5. 11 different skaters registered at least a point for the victorious squad, before Grant Cruikshank (No. 17) and Trenton Bliss (No. 18) lit the lamp in the shootout to seal the deal. Netminder Ryan Edquist (No. 30) was solid as well, denying three-of-four Grey shootout shooters.
