The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team continues its preliminary-round schedule in the XXII Olympic Winter Games today against Russia at 7:30 a.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network. A live stream is also available via NBC Sports Live Extra.

The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team is 1-0-0-2-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) all-time against Russia at the Olympics. In international competition overall, including the Olympics and Men’s World Championship, the U.S. is 5-1-0-7-2 (W-OTW-L-OTL-T).

The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team opened its Olympic schedule on Feb. 13 with a 7-1 victory over Slovakia. Paul Stastny tallied a pair of goals and Phil Kessel recorded three points (1-3), while goaltender Jonathan Quick made 22 saves in his Olympic debut. The U.S. scored six of its seven goals in the second period, tying a U.S. Olympic record for goal in a single period during the modern era (1956-present).
