Job Title: Digital Content Coordinator
Department: Communications
Reports To: Director of Content
Basic Function: Lead USA Hockey's day-to-day social media efforts while assisting with content production for various platforms. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce written, graphic and video content for USA Hockey communication properties
  • Execute day-to-day social media activities, including producing and posting content, while engaging with USA Hockey's digital audience
  • Maintain USA Hockey's social media calendar for both short- and long-term initiatives
  • Stay apprised of emerging social media technologies and how those trends are applicable to USA Hockey's digital footprint
  • Assist with content and coverage surrounding USA Hockey teams and events
  • Collaborate with USA Hockey's corporate partnership team to ideate and execute content initiatives with sponsors
  • Assist in using metric tools to collect and organize social media analytics to maximize engagement and meet organizational goals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing and communications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and immersion in social media
  • Experience in fully producing video and graphic packages under deadline
  • Solid understanding and ability to work within the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • 1-2 years of experience managing social media accounts
  • Strong understanding of hockey
  • Experience in analyzing social media analytics and creating data-driven strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to positively engage with all USA Hockey constituent groups

SALARY

  • Salary range is $40,000-$45,000 based on experience
  • Full-time, exempt, 12-month position, includes excellent USA Hockey benefits package
  • 12 paid holidays, 10 days of vacation (or more depending on length of service), seven days of sick leave, two personal days per year
  • Health, dental and vision insurance plans with minimal co-pay. We pay a substantial amount of the health insurance premiums
  • Life insurance and long-term disability insurance are company paid
  • A 403(b) retirement program which includes employer-matching contributions

  • Position available immediately at USA Hockey's headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo.
