COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today the promotion of Scott Monaghan to assistant executive director for USA Hockey Arena and the National Team Development Program and Tami Tranter to chief development officer of The USA Hockey Foundation, and also the hiring of Emma McNeil as manager of marketing for sponsor services.
Monaghan has been part of the USA Hockey staff since 1996 when he helped establish the National Team Development Program, which at the time was housed in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He helped facilitate the move of the program to USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, in 2015, and has oversight of all operations of the NTDP and USA Hockey Arena.
Tranter joined The USA Hockey Foundation staff in May of 2017 and leads all aspects of fundraising, including the Foundation’s current Raise The Flag Campaign, which will support not only USA Hockey’s efforts in preparation for the 2022 Olympics and Paralympics, but also USA Hockey Arena.
McNeil’s duties will focus on managing the strategic development and execution of partnership marketing programs for USA Hockey.
She comes to USA Hockey after spending three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA, where as partnership activation account manager, she served in a lead role in the execution of partner assets and also assisted in the creation of proposals and strategies for new and renewing partners.
Her background also includes time as a social media strategist at Staplegun and as a media coordinator at Vitro Agency.
