Maelyn Divinski Named Manager of Communications at USA Hockey

Divinski will officially begin duties on March 2

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today that Maelyn Divinski (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has been named manager of communications. In her role, Divinski will be involved in all areas of USA Hockey's communications efforts, including leading those involved with the U.S. Women's National Team program.

Divinski comes to USA Hockey from USA Ultimate, where she served as digital marketing and communications manager for the national governing body of ultimate since Feb. 2017. She was responsible for managing the organization’s online presence, including that of its national teams, and also oversaw the design of all creative assets, livestream productions at flagship events, development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, and the communications efforts on behalf of national elite athletes. In addition, she was a key contributor to the development of the #LiveUltimate brand and its ambassador program.

Divinski previously served in the public relations and marketing department at her alma mater, the Savannah College of Art and Design, and its two award-winning museums: SCAD Museum of Art and SCAD FASH. She also served as a public relations coordinator for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, while simultaneously running across America as part of a team of 24 athletes.

A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Divinski earned her bachelor’s degree in photography with a minor in writing.

She will officially begin her duties on March 2.
