The 10th day in Ostrava saw the U.S. defeat the host nation, Czech Republic, by a 10-2 score to advance to its sixth-straight gold-medal game in world championship play.

Jack Wallace scored five goals and Declan Farmer added five points as the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team defeated the Czech Republic, 10-2, to advance to the gold-medal game. Wallace's five goals established a new U.S. record for most goals by a player in a single game in tournament play. The win gave the U.S. its sixth victory in six semifinal appearances.

USA MEETS CANADA TOMORROW FOR GOLD
The United States (4-0-0-0/W-OTW-OTL-L) will meet Canada in tomorrow's (May 4) gold-medal game. A rematch of Team USA's preliminary-round 3-1 victory, puck drop is set for 4:30 p.m. local time (10:30 a.m. ET) at Ostravar Arena. The game will be broadcast live in the United States on the Olympic Channel and also aired by NBCSN tape-delayed at 5:30 p.m. ET.
     Dating back to the 2015 IPC Sled Hockey World Championship, the United States and Canada have now met in the championship game of eight consecutive international tournaments. The U.S. holds a 7-1 advantage, with its lone loss coming in the 2017 Para Ice Hockey World Championship.
     A year ago, the U.S. came from behind in dramatic fashion to capture the gold medal at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games with a 2-1 overtime win. Declan Farmer scored the game-tying goal with 37.8 seconds left in regulation and tallied the golden goal 3:30 into overtime.
     Since 2009, when the U.S. captured its first world championship gold medal here in Ostrava, Team USA has now reached nine consecutive gold-medal game berths at the Paralympic and World Championship level. In those appearances, the U.S. has posted a 6-2 record while claiming three Paralympic gold medals (2010, 2014, 2018) and three world championship gold medals (2009, 2012, 2015). Its two losses came in world championship play (2013, 2017).
