FARMER, WALLACE VISIT NHL NETWORK
On Monday, current U.S. players and 2018 Paralympic gold medalists Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) and Jack Wallace (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) visited NHL Network's studios in Secaucus, New Jersey, to promote the upcoming Para Ice Hockey World Championship. An avid Lightning fan, Farmer commented on the Lightning's President Cup-winning season and Stanley Cup Playoffs defeat while Wallace, a born-and-raised New Jersey Devils fan, was able to discuss the overall fan excitement around New Jersey winning the NHL Draft Lottery.

LEE RUNS BOSTON MARATHON
On April 15, the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team saw one of its own players take part in the 2019 Boston Marathon as U.S. netminder Jen Lee (San Francisco, Calif.) completed his first-ever marathon. Lee ran the event as a member of Team USO, for which his participation helped the USO organization raise money.  
     "The good (leg) started to cramp up between mile 19-22," Jee wrote on his Instagram post. "Less than 5 hrs later I finally crossed the finish line :) I wanna personally thank @theuso for letting me be part of this unforgettable Boston Experience. I’m proud to say I’ve completed my first official marathon (4:56:50) and my first 1/2 marathon as well

McKEE, MITCHELL TAKE RELATIONSHIP TO NEXT-LEVEL
Earlier this season, U.S. National Sled Hockey Team forward Kevin McKee (Chicago, Ill.) became engaged to Erica Mitchell (Chicago, Ill.), who skates for the U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team. Long-time partners, the two skate together for the Chicago Blackhawks Sled Hockey Team that this season captured the Adult Sled Hockey National Championship at the 2019 Toyota-USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival as well as USA Hockey Sled Classic, presented by the NHL.
