PLANS AFTER LANGLEY
Following tonight's game, the U.S. will return to the hotel. While final roster decisions still loom for Team USA's staff, the U.S. will depart in the morning for Victoria, where it will play its tournament games against Finland, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and Sweden. The journey will include an hour bus ride and 90 minute ferry before reaching Team USA's final destination.

DID YOU KNOW
Tonight's game will include New Jersey Devils teammates serving on both the U.S. and Czech Republic team staffs. John Vanbiesbrouck, assistant executive director of hockey operations for USA Hockey, is Team USA's general manager while Patrik Elias, who he skated alongside with the Devils in 2000-02, is an assistant coach for the Czechs. Their time together in New Jersey included helping the Devils reach Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final in 2001. Also on that Devils squad was John Madden, whose son, Tyler Madden, is vying for a position on Team USA's final roster.
