TEAM USA TAKES IN FIRST DAY OF PARALYMPIC ACTION
With the Village abuzz as the first day of competition got underway, various members of the 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team supported fellow U.S. athletes in a number of events. After watching history for the U.S. Paralympic Nordic Skiing Team, in which Kendall Gretsch and Dan Cnossen won first-ever gold medals in biathlon for Team USA, members of the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team split time before and after practice watching other sled hockey games and curling matches on T.V.

BIRTHDAY WISHES TO PAGE
On the bus to practice today, the team joined together in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to forward Adam Page as he turned 26 today. A native of Lancaster, New York, Page has been a member of U.S. National Sled Hockey Team since 2007-08, helping Team USA to two Paralympic gold medals (2010, 2014), three world championship gold medals (2009, 2012, 2015) and six World Sled Hockey Challenge titles (2009, 2012, 2015, 2016 (Jan.), 2016 (Dec.), 2017). In 153 career games for the U.S., he has collected 85 points (48-37), which ranks sixth among current U.S. players.
