It was all business today and tonight for the U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team.

Team USA faced a do-or-die qualification-round game against Slovakia at 12 noon, with the loser going home and the winner advancing to tomorrow’s quarterfinal round against the Czech Republic. Thanks in part to a pair of goals from Ryan Donato and three assists from Troy Terry, as well as a strong defensive performance, the U.S. earned a 5-1 win and has a chance now to earn a semifinal berth with a win over the Czech Republic tomorrow.

After the game, some members of the U.S. ski and snowboard team – including Arielle Gold and Faye Gulini – visited Team USA’s lockerroom. Gold won a bronze medal in the snowboard halfpipe competition on Feb. 13.

The U.S. had a late lunch after its game back near the Olympic athlete's village and returned to their rooms for rest. They gathered for a team meeting in preparation for tomorrow’s game vs. the Czech Republic at 7:30 p.m., prior to an 8 p.m. team dinner. Rest and relaxation followed dinner.

Tomorrow's game against the Czech Republic is set for 12:10 p.m. local time (10:10 p.m. ET on Feb. 19) and can be seen live on CNBC and streamed live at NBCOlympics.com.
