The U.S. women’s team held its third consecutive practice today at the Kwandong Hockey Centre in the coastal cluster and then participated in some team-building exercises this afternoon.

SUPER BOWL MONDAY
After practice, players from the U.S. team huddled around a TV in their locker room to catch the second half of Super Bowl LII. Meghan Duggan (Danvers, Mass.) donned New England Patriots socks in support of her hometown team, while others in the room were pulling for the Philadelphia Eagles.

KEEPING UP WITH THE BRANDTS
Each day, excitement builds as more and more teams and athletes from around the globe have arrived to the Olympic Village wearing their nation’s colors. Among the arrivals to the Village today was the Korean women’s hockey team, which meant that U.S. forward Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) was able to catch up with her sister and Korean team member Marissa Brandt.

“It was so exciting to see my sister for the first time in the village,” said Hannah Brandt. “We had some time to catch up and explore the village together. It was also nice to hang out with some of her teammates that I had met in the past.”
