TORONTO – The U.S. returned to the ice and practiced for 60 minutes late this morning at Ricoh Coliseum, home of the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.

The team then headed to the Air Canada Centre for the official World Cup of Hockey 2016 media day. A total of 15 “pods” were set up and all 23 members of Team USA were assigned to one of the pods for a 30-minute session with the 400-plus news media accredited for the event. Following player media availability, general manager Dean Lombardi and head coach John Tortorella sat together in the media center to field media questions for 15 minutes.

A number of players also visited the tournament merchandise store inside the Air Canada Centre.

The evening included a team meal with players, coaches and staff.
