James Schecter joined USA Hockey in October 2023 as an IT Support Technician. 

Prior to USA Hockey, Schecter worked as an A+ instructor at Intellitec College, where he taught multiple 6-week courses on a variety of topics including Windows, Linux, and MacOS setup and configuration of features for operating systems, and setup and configuration of personal computer, printer, network, and servers. 

A native of Pueblo, Colorado, Schecter's day-to-day responsibilities include working with IT suppliers and vendors responsible for procuring and deploying desktop equipment and working on the organization’s network, servers or with IT service providers responsible for monitoring USA Hockey on-premises or cloud environments.
