Chris Liang joined USA Hockey in January 2020 as as a business systems and IT analyst, and was named manager, program services in January 2022. Liang is engaged with local USA Hockey member associations in providing education and resources to support all aspects of hockey growth and association business operations.

Previously, he served as a facilities manager, technical support and IT for the San Diego Ice Arena in San Diego, Calif.

Liang earned his bachelor of arts: film and new media studies from Colorado College, and earned his masters in computer science at the University of Colorado Springs. Liang played three seasons at Colorado College (ACHA), two seasons with the San Diego Skates (Mountain West Hockey League), and two seasons at UCCS (ACHA).
