Age Classifications 2025-26 Season
The 2025-26 Age Classification is set in place by USA Hockey in order to categorize the birth years of players. This is to ensure that the players will compete in their appropriate age brackets, and to ensure fair and equal play amongst the various age classifications.
The Age Classifications are used for Youth Nationals to categorize the players into divisions, in order to create a fair playing field across all the tournaments.
Youth Classifications: [13 & 14 (14U), 15-only (15O), 15 & 16 (16U), 17 & 18 (18U)]
Girls Classifications: [13 & 14 (14U), 15 & 16 (16U), 17 to 19 (19U)]
