2004 World Junior Championship

By topping Canada in the final, Team USA won gold at the World Junior Championship for the first time in the 28-year history of the tournament. Trailing 3-1 after two periods, the U.S. mounted a comeback effort that lead to a 4-3 win. Zach Parise and Al Montoya were named to the all-tournament team, while Parise garnered MVP honors.
