The 2012 WCHL Summer Season is projected to start in late May.  The Summer season consists of 12 - 1.5 hour regular season games, plus single elimination playoffs. Games are played Sunday thru Thursday nights at Eble and Naga-Waukee Ice Arenas.  Teams may play up to 2 Friday night prime time slots as needed.  A gas grill will be provided upon request after the friday night games.  Bring your own food to grill.  2 USA Hockey referees will be utilized per game.  USA Hockey Rules are used as a basis for all WCHL games.  Last year consisted of 1 division of mixed B and C league players, however divisions being offered will be dependent on team registrations.

The team fee for the 2012 Summer Season 

will stay at $2300! 

All players must also be registered with USA Hockey (separate fee) 

Anyone that was registered for the fall/winter season is still covered thru the Summer Season.

The WCHL Fall/Winter season will start Friday, September 9th.  Any teams or players interested in playing this season, please Contact Us. Last call to accept teams.  Players still needed at all levels.

The team fee will be $6,230.  A reduction from last years fees.  This is for 24 - 1.5 hour regular season games, plus playoffs.  We will have 3 divisions this year.  Our top level A-division, a B2 division, and a C1 division.  Games take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at NagaWaukee and Eble Ice Arenas.  Surrounding arenas may be used if needed.  Schedules will be released shortly.

On top of the team fee, players who have not reregistered with USA hockey for the summer will need to do so before the season at www.usahockeyregistration.com. Cost is $35/player.  This coverage is good for next summer as well as this fall/winter.  This is the same registration that is required for anyone who coaches youth hockey.  This registration is also good for anyone attending the Pond Hockey tournament in Eagle River.

 Rule changes for this year: 

• Stop time will still be used.  However, they will now be 18 minute stop time periods instead of 17 minute stop time periods.  Run time will still be used in 3rd period only, while there is a 6 goal or more goal differential.
• Players will not be allowed to be rostered on multiple teams per division.
• If players are to play in 2 divisions, they can only play up or down 1 division.  ie, a player cannot play in both the A and C divisions.  A player can play in A, B or B,C only.
