On Sunday, August 30th, Nelson welcomed the 100th player on the ice for “Give It a Shot”. “Give It a Shot” began in July and is an introduction to the basic elements of ice hockey. It gives children ages 4-12 an opportunity to try the fun and exciting game of hockey. Coaches teach skating and basic hockey skills in low teacher-to-student ratios.
