Develop each participant to the limits of their potential, regardless of their abilities. Develop a healthy attitude toward winning that focuses on the improvement and mastery of skills, striving to win, and giving one's best effort rather than emphasizing the number of victories. Develop individual and team skills, knowledge of the game, and an attitude of team participation, loyalty, and responsibility. Develop respect for coaches, referees, and maintain a good reputation.

Atoms: Age 4-7. Introductory, fun, skill building, intra-squad play. Mites: Age 7-8. Emphasis on fun and skill building. Introduction to fun competition. Squirts: Age 9-10. Emphasis on skill building and sportsmanship through fun competition. Peewees: Age 11-12. Continued skill building, sportsmanship and physical competition. Bantams: Age 13-14. Skill development, physical competition, sportsmanship emphasis. Midgets: Age 15-18. WAHA affiliated with international tournament play.
