Welcome to the Officiating Seminar page. All USA Hockey Officials must attend an entire seminar (Classroom & Ice) each year to complete their registration.
Seminar Registration in most USA Hockey Districts (exception: Central District) is done through the online USAH Seminar Registration Tool, and will require a USAHockey.com Profile to complete.
Your USAH.com Profile is a website profile and does not require any membership (player, coach, official, etc.) to create, and registration as a member of USAH does not automatically create a website profile.
Central District Officials must use the links located below to locate and register for seminars.
All questions regarding Seminar Schedules and Seminar Registration should be directed to your District or State staff.
To transfer from one seminar to another within your state of residence, please sign into your online USAHockey.com Profile and access your Referee Status page. The seminar you are currently registered for is listed at your Referee Status page with a "Request Transfer" link next to it. Click the transfer link and follow the steps to move to a different seminar.
To transfer to a seminar outside of your state. Please sign into your USAHockey.com Profile and access the Seminar Catalog to find your seminar listing. Contact the Coordinator (using the link) and ask to be removed from the seminar roster. Once removed you may re-register for a seminar.
All rosters are maintained by Local, State, and District Seminar Coordinators. Please contact them with any questions.
All officials should create a USAHockey.com Profile to register for a seminar using the USAH.com Seminar Registration Tool.
However, due to Federal COPPA Laws (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) USA Hockey is not allowed to take personal information via the internet from any person under the age of thirteen. Therefore, anyone under thirteen who tries to create a profile will be rejected. Furthermore, using a phony birthday will not work since their USAHockey.com profile will not match their USAH Membership Database information and they will not receive proper information.
Any parent of a child under 13 years-of-age who wishes to register their son/daughter for an officiating seminar must create their own profile, and use it to access the Seminar Catalog. At the Seminar Catalog you may contact the Coordinator of the seminar you wish to attend (see available link) to explain your situation and ask them to add your son/daughter to the roster as a "walk-up".
