Ashley Bevan joined USA Hockey as the organization’s manager of events administration in April 1998. He held that position until August 2000, when he became the manager of adult hockey. After three years serving under that title, Bevan was named the director of adult hockey in August 2003 and then promoted to Senior Director, Adult Hockey in September 2010.

In his current position, Bevan oversees the day to day operations of the adult hockey program, including membership growth and retention, non-varsity college hockey and all programming. During his tenure adult hockey membership has more than doubled from 76,948 in 2000 to an all-time record high of over 180,000 in 2017. Bevan led USA Hockey’s efforts in establishing and executing the USA Hockey Pond Hockey Championships, the largest pond hockey event in the world and the Adult First Goal Program, which has distributed over 500 sets of new equipment to beginner adult players around the country.

Bevan, a 1995 graduate from the University of Florida earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise and sport science.  He has also received his Level 5 Coaching Certification, Hockey Director Certification and The President’s Award in 2016.  Bevan has been a youth hockey coach since 2010 with the Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association and has served as the staff liaison to the adult hockey council since August 2000.

In addition, Bevan is responsible for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National University Teams that participate in the Winter World University Games. He has served as the team leader for the 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 U.S. Men's National University Teams. Bevan also served as team leader for the inaugural 2011 and Bronze Medalist 2013 U.S. Women's National University Teams.

Bevan and his wife Nikki reside in Colorado Springs, Colo., with their daughter Tori and son Grant.
