2009-10 HOCKEY REGISTRATION ONLINE

All players within PNAHA are required to register online with USA Hockey starting the 2009-10 season.  USA Hockey started offering online registration four years ago.  Online registration has proved to be very successful across the country and streamlines the registration process for associations within the affiliate.  Last year was the first year of full online registration and it proved to be very successful.  The process is easy to use, and PNAHA and its Member Organizations found that the system reduced data entry errors.

Once players have registered online they need to print out a confirmation form.  They need to take this confirmation form to the association that they decided to join and present them to the registrar so that he/she may "claim" that player for the 2009-10 season.  Note that if you should happen to loose your confimation form that the local association registrar will be able to locate you in the system manually.

HOCKEY WEEKEND ACROSS AMERICA 2010

Watch It. Play It. Live It.

Join us January 29-31, 2010 to celebrate Hockey Weekend Across America 2010.  The objective of this event is to celebrate our game and all involved in the sport throughout the nation using all means possible.  It is our desire to provide opportunities for those who haven't played hockey to try it, resulting ultimately in more people playing our game at all levels.

Hockey Weekend Across America has been a big success as a national platform to celebrate the game and in 2010, the event will have a stronger focus on growing the game.  USA Hockey is seeking at least 200 rinks offering a free trial of hockey on Saturday, January 30, 2010.  All hosting rinks that participate are required to hold the free trial at a consistent time of 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. local time.  It is hoped that this activity will generate a number of first-time players on the ice that will later transition to local full-time programs.
