Nonotuck Valley Hockey Association (NVHA) is dedicated to instructing boys and girls of the Greater Easthampton area in the fundamentals of skating, hockey, good sportsmanship and team spirit. NVHA has teams for those just beginning to play, up to high school aged players. We also hold an instructional Learn-to-Skate/Learn-to-Play session each season, during which new skaters learn the basics of ice skating and are introduced to the game of hockey.

Our season starts in September, which is when practices and evaluations begin, and ends in March with playoff games. Last season over 100 skaters benefited from seven months of instruction and league play. These young skaters represented many different communities, including Easthampton, Southampton, Westhampton, Northampton, Hatfield, Huntington, Williamsburg and Goshen. Our home ice is the Lossone Rink at the Williston-Northampton School in Easthampton, although our teams also travel to other locations such as Amherst, Brattleboro,VT, Enfield,CT, Greenfield, Holyoke, Keene,NH, Pittsfield, Springfield, Westfield and West Springfield.

NVHA is a family-oriented organization; our association is run purely through the volunteer efforts of our members. We hold fundraisers throughout the season, such as raffles, a summer golf tournament, and various other events to help defray costs for families.
