Anderson, Fusani, McCambridge and Schlittenhardt Named Officials

USA Hockey also announced today that referees Kenneth Anderson (Elk River, Minn.) and Peter Schlittenhardt (Piscataway, N.J.) and linesmen Michael Fusani (Depew, N.Y.) and Ian McCambridge (Aurora, Ill.) have been selected as this year’s game officials.

Anderson enters his fourth full season as a referee in the ECHL after previously working in the Southern Professional Hockey League, North American Hockey League and United States Hockey League. Last season, he officiated the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals and also spent time officiating in the American Hockey League.

Schlittenhardt is beginning his third season as a referee in NCAA Division I hockey with the Hockey East Association. Prior to joining the college ranks, Schlittenhardt split four seasons between both the NAHL and USHL. His experience also includes time in the AHL and ECHL.

Fusani will be spending the 2017-18 season in both the AHL and ECHL on a full-time basis after spending time in the NAHL and SPHL. He has served as a linesman in league championships for the last three seasons, including the ECHL's Kelly Cup Finals in 2016-17, SPHL's President's Cup in 2015-16 andNAHL's Robertson Cup in 2015-16.

McCambridge is entering his first full-time season in the ECHL after serving as a linesman at the 2017 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan. His previous experience includes time with the AHL, ECHL, NAHL and USHL.

All four officials are products of USA Hockey’s Officiating Development Program, which educates and assigns officials for Tier I, II and III junior leagues in the United States.
