Boston to Host 2017 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Celebration

Event Set for Dec. 13 at Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel; Tickets On Sale

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today that the 2017 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration, which will feature the formal induction of the Class of 2017, will take place Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel.

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2017 includes Kevin Collins, Jack Parker, Ben Smith, Ron Wilson, and Scott Young.

“Boston is one of the great hockey cities in our country and will be a perfect setting to formally enshrine the Class of 2017,” said Pat Kelleher, executive director of USA Hockey. “The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration is one of the can't miss events on the hockey calendar each year.”

Tickets can be obtained online at USHockeyHallofFame.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance as no tickets are sold at the door the night of the event.

NOTES: The Lester Patrick Trophy and Wayne Gretzky International Award recipients (not yet announced) will also be honored as part of the 2017 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration … USA Hockey assumed responsibilities for the selection process and induction event associated with the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame 11 years ago and has shared the Induction Celebration with communities across America, including Grand Forks, North Dakota, Denver, Chicago, Buffalo, New York, Boston, Dallas, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Detroit … The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame enshrined its first class in 1973.
